Three Key Programs

Having worked with more than half of the total volume of hospitals in the U.S., we know what's needed to maximize Medicare reimbursement.  As a result of this experience, we've developed the following valuable programs:

• WIER: Wage Index Expert Review

This program provides an on-site, detailed review of all source data that contributed to a participating hospital’s Worksheet S-3, Parts II and III. Every line item on the S-3 is traced back to its source data for verification and reconciliation. In addition, we review hospital records, prepare and re-file the S-3, coordinate with fiscal intermediaries and CMS, and report detailed findings.  For more information, click here.

• WIIP: Wage Index Improvement Program

We designed WIIP to achieve a single objective — to increase the hospital's reported average hourly wage and, in turn, its area wage index. We accomplish this through a systematic process that begins with advising providers on the importance of their reported data and ends with coordinating with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) when necessary. • MBDRS: Medicare Bad Debts Recovery Service

We developed a program that retrospectively examines a hospital's Medicare write-off practices and identifies accounts that are recoverable from Medicare. We assist in recovering amounts due and help the hospital to install procedures to insure appropriate recovery in future years.  For more information, click here.
